Tradīcijas un augstās tehnoloģijas – vai tās sader kopā? Sader kā cimds ar roku! Vai kā HAIX kurpes ar varoņu pēdām. Un tas viss aizsākās pirms vairāk nekā 75 gadiem: Uzņēmuma vadītājs Xaver Haimerl pievienoja sava vārda pirmo burtu X trijiem sava uzvārda burtiem un uzsāka pārgājiena un darba apavu ražošanu Meinburgā, Bavārijā. 1992. gadā viņa dēls Ewald Haimerl izstrādāja pirmos ugunsdzēsēju apavus no ādas.

No vietējā kurpnieka uzņēmuma HAIX ir attīstījies par globālu spēlētāju. HAIX uzskata par vadošo funkcionālu apavu zīmolu ugunsdzēsējiem, policistiem un operatīvajām grupām.
